The TPC-Meeting will be held at the Nürnberger Akademie which was built in 1896 in the neo-baroque style.
In former times, it was used as a Museum for Applied Arts. The museum‘s collection was moved to the Germanische Nationalmuseum more than 15 years ago and the building nowadays is used by several institutions.
How to reach Nuremberg and the Nürnberger Akademie
Nuremberg is located 170 kilometers north of Munich, and is very well connected to all major countries in Europe by different means of public transportation.
Nuremberg airport is well-served with direct flights arriving from many European cities. The metro line U2 will bring you from the airport to the Nürnberger Akademie in less than 30 minutes.
Nuremberg is particularly easy to access by car.
|From the south:||Follow A9 to Regensburger Straße/B4 in Fischbach. Take exit 52-Nürnberg-Fischbach from A9|
|From the north:||Follow A7 and A3 to Äußere Bayreuther Straße/B2. Take exit 85 – Nürnberg-Nord from A3|
|From the east:||Follow A6 and A3 to B14 in Erlenstegener Forst. Take exit 86 – Nürnberg/Behringersdorf from A3|
|From the west:||Follow A6 and A73 to Münchener Str./B8 in Nürnberg. Take exit Nürnberg-Zollhaus from A73|
There are three public parking areas near the venue: the parking garage “Nürnberger Akademie”, parking garage “Katharinenhof” and parking garage “Karstadt”.
From Nuremberg Airport
Take subway U2 from Nuremberg Flughafen to subway stop “Wöhrder Wiese”. After a footwalk of about 8 minutes you’ll reach the Nürnberger Akademie.

From Munich Airport
Take suburban railway S1 or S8 from Munich Airport to the central station of Munich (Hauptbahnhof) and then the ICE (high-speed train) to Nuremberg central station (see “By train” information). From there it will take you a 15 minutes walk only to the Nürnberger Akademie at Gewerbemuseumsplatz 2.

From Frankfurt Airport
Take the ICE or IC (high-speed/fast train) from Frankfurt Airport to the central station of Nuremberg (Hauptbahnhof) (see “By train” information). From there it will take you a 15 minutes walk only to the Nürnberger Akademie at Gewerbemuseumsplatz 2.
Approximate travel time: 2:40h (no need to change trains)
High-speed train (ICE) from Munich central station to Nuremberg central station in 1:10h
High-speed train (ICE) from Frankfurt Airport to Nuremberg central station in 2:25h
From central station Nuremberg to the Gewerbemuseumsplatz 2, it will take you a 15 minutes walk or you can take the subway U2 (exit “Wöhrder Wiese”) and after an 8 minutes walk you’ll reach the Gewerbemuseumsplatz.
The Nürnberger Akademie is easy to access by public transport.
